I’ve been thinking a lot about access. My work has grown into brand campaigns, events, and projects that often take me across cities and countries. My day rate reflects that - and while I’m grateful for it, I also know it makes my photography feel out of reach for some people.
At the same time, I believe portraits shouldn’t only belong to companies with budgets or people booking me for full-day shoots. They should be for anyone who wants to feel seen, polish their image, or simply have a moment in front of the camera where they can step out of their daily rush.
That’s why I’m opening the doors to a Portrait Pop-Up × Creative Salon on Prinsengracht. For a few days, I’ll be in one place, with my lights, my camera, and an open invitation. You don’t need to plan months ahead. You don’t need a campaign budget. You just need to walk in.
The pop-up is simple: short sessions, clear pricing, instant previews. Maybe you walk away with a LinkedIn-ready portrait, maybe a photograph that feels more personal, or maybe you just enjoy the creative energy of the space. Alongside my work, I’m inviting local artists to join, turning the pop-up into more than a studio: a small creative salon where the city’s energy meets art.
I wanted to create this because I miss those spontaneous connections. The moments where someone I’ve never met steps in front of my lens, and together we create something.
So if you’ve been curious to have your portrait taken, or if you just want to experience what a pop-up like this feels like -> this is the chance. Come by, step in, and let’s create something together.
