Refugee project
In 2015 I visited the central train station in Munich for 2 weeks to capture the dramatic and emotional situation of the refugees arriving after a long exhausting trip across borders. I hope the pictures can mirror what I saw and felt during that time.
I wrote a small book about the project, accompanied with portraits - reach out if you want a copy! :)
I was 16 years back then, booked a flight back from the vacation I was on with my family when I heard about the big refugee waves arriving in Germany. I had to make my own picture of it since the media was so confusing and I wanted to understand what was happening from a human perspective.
